What to Bring

  1. MN Fishing license (under 16 doesn’t need one).  LOTW Sleepers does not sell fishing licenses.  Licenses are available through 1-888-665-4236 or by stopping at any MN Holiday gas station or bait store.
     

  2. Rods, reels, tackle, and electronics.  Vexilars are available to rent for $25/day.
     

  3. Sleeping bag and pillow.
     

  4. Cooking utensils – pots, pans, plates, silverware, filet knife, spices, etc.
     

  5. Hand soap, and dishwashing soap
     

  6. Food and beverage
     

  7. Drinking water
     

  8. Cooler
     

  9. Bucket for fish!
     

  10. DVD’s
     

  11. Cell phone
     

  12. Towels to help you keep the floor dry
     

  13. Comfortable camp chair if you’d like
     

  14. Cards/games
     

  15. Clothing – the sleeper gets warm quickly so make sure to layer your clothing.  The top bunks tend to be warmer than the lower bunks at night.  Make sure to bring warm boots, hats, and mittens if you plan to do any fishing outside.
